for ig use fov 80, otherwise use 90. sniper scope resets to 90 so using a different fov causes some lag as it makes that change. on a map like face there isn't even any reason to require a wider field of view. not to mention that increasing fov decreases the size of your target, which is definitely not a good thing. this is one of the few cases where default settings are best.

I remember experimenting with hotkeying a couple of FOV settings, but I don't think it stuck. It seemed too much like cheating for sniping purposes, but it helped in maps which transition from outdoor to indoor areas.
